Title: Technical Project Manager
Job Type: Contract
Contract Length: Through End of Year (EOY), with potential for extension
Target Start Date: ASAP
Work Location/Structure: Remote

About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Social Media and Digital Advertising, is looking for a skilled  Technical Project Manager  to join their team for a contract engagement through the end of the year, with a strong possibility of extension. This project involves driving significant cost savings around EC2 (Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud) infrastructure, with a core focus on closely tracking spend across projects for a key product monetization team. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Closely tracking and managing infrastructure spend across multiple projects for the Monetization team.
  • Leading efficiency projects focused on cost savings, particularly around EC2 infrastructure.
  • Applying a strong technical background and understanding of advertising systems to effectively prioritize and filter incoming project requests.
  • Developing and maintaining trust with cross-functional and diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • Providing clear, concise, and frequent communication and status updates to senior leaders and project teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in a similar role.
  • Deep expertise in core technical project management principles, with an understanding of data analytics. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
  • Experience with infrastructure spend and a strong technical background, including some understanding of advertising and system operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
  • Excellent and clear communication skills, with demonstrated ability to develop trust with cross-functional and diverse stakeholders.
