About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in the Financial Services industry, is looking for 3 experienced Mid-Level UI/UX Designers
to join their internal digital platforms team for a six-month engagement with the possibility of extension. This project involves designing intuitive, seamless user experiences that support internal workflows. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly. The ideal candidate brings hands-on design skills, strong user empathy, and the ability to balance usability with business impact. This is a highly collaborative role with ownership over research, prototyping, testing, and iteration.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct user research: Convert findings into actionable design decisions.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes: Communicate design concepts effectively.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Gather requirements and deliver usable solutions.
- Iterate designs: Use user feedback, analytics, and usability testing to refine designs.
- Contribute to and maintain design system consistency: Ensure consistency across products.
- Stay current with UX best practices and accessibility standards: Apply the latest industry standards.
- Support additional UX/UI tasks as needed.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 3–5 years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio.
- Deep expertise in Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design and usability principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
