About the Opportunity:
Our client, a global investment firm, is looking for a strategic and hands-on VP, Tech Transformation
to join their Corporate organization. This project involves partnering across functions to drive operational excellence and innovation firmwide, specifically focusing on transitioning key business units—such as HR, Finance, and Legal—following a successful digital transformation of the IT group. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated technology leader who can bridge the gap between IT and business units, translating strategic goals into scalable, technology-enabled solutions.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Alignment: Partner with Corporate leaders and Technology teams to define and execute a multi-year technology and data strategy aligned with firm priorities.
- Process Optimization: Drive standardization and simplification across Corporate processes to improve consistency, efficiency, and scale.
- Solution Implementation: Lead the implementation of tools and platforms focused on automation, artificial intelligence, and data enablement.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Build and mobilize cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes and ensure seamless adoption of new solutions.
- Data Enablement: Develop frameworks to turn data into actionable insights, dashboards, and decision-making tools, strengthening how data is captured and utilized across Corporate functions.
- Change Management: Champion a technology-forward mindset and help business teams understand and embrace change as you guide them through their transformation journeys.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful leadership engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, digital transformation, product management, or consulting, ideally within financial services or related industries.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives that leverage technology (such as Salesforce, Tableau, ADP, and various ERP systems) to solve complex business challenges.
- Strong understanding of modern data, automation, and analytics tools, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business audiences.
- Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts and ROI clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for innovation and a deep curiosity about how artificial intelligence and emerging technologies can improve business operations.
