About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in the SaaS/Technology industry, is looking for a skilled Web Content Strategist to join their team for a 6-month engagement. This project involves executing a comprehensive content strategy for their public-facing websites, with a focus on driving acquisition and activation. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Executing a comprehensive web content strategy that aligns with brand voice, marketing goals, and target audience needs.
- Writing and refining content for core website areas, including homepages, product and solution pages, and SEO/GEO-focused pages.
- Updating product and solution page content to reflect evolving marketing strategy, positioning, and product launches.
- Leading content and personalization strategy across audience segments, including enterprise.
- Defining information architecture and content strategy for new page types, partnering with the Brand team on optimal modules and components.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Product Marketing, Brand, Campaigns) to ensure content consistency and accuracy.
- Reviewing website performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversion) to inform strategic adjustments and execute data-driven improvements.
- Optimizing pages for SEO and GEO needs, partnering with internal SEO teams and agencies to publish and optimize non-blog content.
- Adhering to content guidelines, style guides, and best practices to maintain high-quality, cohesive web content.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in web content strategy, content marketing, or a similar role, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Deep expertise in SEO best practices, keyword research, and content optimization tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals and manage multiple initiatives on tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of UX principles and how content shapes a user’s experience and journey.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling copy.
- Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable content decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
