Job Title: Workday Performance Consultant

Overview:
Are you an experienced Workday Performance Consultant ready to make a strategic impact in higher education? This exciting opportunity involves partnering with a prestigious institution to implement and optimize the Workday Performance module. As a key player, you’ll provide hands-on expertise, guide the client through configuration and best practices, and help shape the project’s scope, timeline, and success. Required Skills:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Workday Performance module implementation and configuration
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional Workday solutions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Proven track record guiding clients through complex implementation decisions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a consultative approach
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience working in higher education environments (not mandatory)
  • Knowledge of broader Workday modules or related HRIS systems
  • Familiarity with project scope development, timeline estimation, and cost analysis
  • Previous experience collaborating with large implementation teams or consulting firms

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (e.g., HR, Business, IT)
  • Minimum of 3+ years of direct Workday Performance configuration and implementation experience
  • Prior consulting background is a plus

Other Requirements:

  • Open to 100% remote work with the ability to work primarily within Eastern Time hours
  • Availability to begin as soon as possible to meet FY27 project timelines
  • Willingness to participate in an interview process with key stakeholders, including management and senior leadership
