About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Cloud Computing, is looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to join their team for a 6-month engagement. This project involves designing and implementing automation solutions that streamline business processes and enable intelligent, AI-driven workflows across the organization. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Design & Architecture: Design, build, and maintain automation workflows using Workato or similar iPaaS platforms, owning the end-to-end lifecycle from development to deployment and monitoring.
- AI Integration: Implement integrations between GenAI platforms, enterprise applications, and data sources, specifically building reusable frameworks involving LLMs, vector databases, and RAG pipelines.
- Workflow Automation: Develop and support AI-driven workflows, including agent-based systems and decision automation, while integrating critical enterprise systems (ITSM, CRM, HRIS, identity platforms).
- Optimization: Monitor automation performance, troubleshoot failures, and optimize workflows while ensuring governance, security, and compliance standards are enforced.
- Strategic Contribution: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into automation solutions and contribute to the overall automation strategy and roadmap.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in automation, integration, or software engineering.
- Hands-on expertise with Workato or similar platforms (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, Zapier).
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS ecosystems.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of data privacy and security considerations.
- (Nice to have) Experience with AI/LLM integrations, CI/CD pipelines, and knowledge of scripting languages like Python or JavaScript.
