About the Opportunity:

Our client, a leader in Professional Services, is looking for a skilled BI & Analytics Analyst  to join their team for a permanent, full-time engagement. This role is essential for providing critical insights to the firm's leadership and operational teams, driving actions that contribute to the firm’s bottom line. You will partner cross-functionally with the finance organization, including FP&A, Pricing, and Accounting. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who is adept at both data modeling and data visualization.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Transforming disparate data sources into scalable data products and visualizations that effectively communicate business insights.
  • Ensuring the highest standard of data integrity and quality through the development of robust and automated quality control processes.
  • Evaluating and enhancing operational processes and data workflows for scale, simplicity, and reliability.
  • Creating dashboards using Tableau.
  • Supporting the BI&A team in providing critical insights to leadership and operational teams.
Required Skills & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have:
  • 2-3 years of work experience in a business intelligence / analytics role, preferably with some exposure to legal or professional services.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar).
  • Deep expertise in SQL, Python, and demonstrated proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI (Looker, Thoughtspot also a plus).
  • Proficiency with data prep tools (e.g., Microsoft Fabric Notebooks & Data Pipelines, Tableau Prep, Alteryx).
  • Familiarity with data warehousing technology like Snowflake is preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, including advanced features such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Ability to analyze, structure, and contextualize vast, unstructured, or incomplete data.
  • Strong verbal and written communication / presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with finance and accounting fundamentals.
