About the Opportunity:

Our client, a leader in Enterprise Technology, is looking for a skilled Business Continuity Specialist  to join their team for a 6-month engagement. This project involves supporting the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide business continuity program, focusing on resilience and disaster recovery planning. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide business continuity program.
  • Executing tasks associated with the Business Continuity Program, such as facilitating business impact analyses and risk assessments, determining recovery strategies, and developing and validating plans.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze critical business processes and ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans align with organizational objectives.
  • Assisting business units in developing Continuity and Recovery Plans.
Required Skills & Experience:

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business continuity and disaster recovery.
  • Deep expertise in facilitating Business Impact Analyses and Risk Assessments. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business continuity principles, best practices, and methodologies.
  • Current CBCP or CBCI certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
  • Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
  • Experience with ISO 22301 implementation is preferred.
