About the Opportunity
Our client, a leader in the Veterinary Software and Customer Success Operations industry, is expanding its Business Services & Subscription team. This unique role is a combination of bookkeeping and customer service, focusing on accurate and timely billing for software products. The specialist will partner with leadership on process design, drive continuous process improvement, and play a crucial role in improving the customer experience by ensuring billing accuracy throughout the customer lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
This role is focused on the successful execution of billing processes and process optimization. Your responsibilities will include:
- Generate monthly billing files to be uploaded into SAP for numerous Veterinary Software Products.
- Audit against monthly promotions and adjustments to ensure accuracy of billing against contracts for products and accounts.
- Execute one-time and repeating billing using Excel, SAP, and billing systems (e.g., ChargeBee) on an ongoing basis.
- Collaborate with leadership and internal stakeholders on billing process design for new software products and process workflow improvements for existing products.
- Identify, design, and execute continuous process improvement initiatives for the team/division.
- Address internal and external customer inquiries regarding billing and data management in a timely fashion.
- Provide content pertaining to billing or data management to stakeholders, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with audit standards and financial guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Data Analytic skill set, including intermediate to advanced experience in Excel (e.g., SUM, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP familiarity).
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience working with SAP for order entry and reporting (willingness to train the right candidate).
- Strong deductive reasoning and analytical skills to resolve issues.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Westbrook, ME, adhering to the required weekly onsite schedule.
