Pay Range: $40-45/hr
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Onsite - Foster City, CA (4x per week)
About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Autonomous Vehicle Technology, is looking for a skilled Client Services Engineer to join their team for a 6 months engagement. This project involves managing employee-facing technical services, troubleshooting issues, and implementing system upgrades to increase operational efficiency and improve the overall user experience. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide end-to-end technical support for all end-user technology services via ticketing systems (ServiceNow) and Slack.
- Research, install, implement, and upgrade internal systems and Saas platforms.
- Support and troubleshoot office equipment, including conference room systems, printers, and digital signage.
- Work cross-collaboratively on client-side projects to improve security, increase efficiency, or enhance user experience.
- Create and maintain essential documentation for internal team processes and user-facing support articles.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar IT Support / Admin role.
- Deep expertise in managing a multi-OS enterprise environment, including Windows 10, Ubuntu, Chrome OS, and macOS. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Strong foundation in Google Workspace administration, Active Directory account administration, and networking concepts (VPN, DHCP, DNS).
- Experience with ticketing/documentation tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence), endpoint management tools (e.g., ECM/Intune, Jamf), and Single-Sign-On configuration (Azure, Okta, Ping).
- Demonstrated ability to design and run experiments (DOE), analyze results statistically, and iterate quickly in a “scrappy” hands-on environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and a strong commitment to endpoint security and user best practices.
- W2 only (No C2C or 1099 contractors)
