Pay Range: $48-71/hr
Start Date: March 30, 2026

About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in the Technology sector, is looking for a skilled Trade Compliance Analyst to join their team for a 1-year engagement. This project involves assisting with day-to-day global trade compliance operations, performing trade data analysis and reporting, and supporting the ERP Oracle / Global Trade Management (GTM) system implementation. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Global Trade Compliance team in daily import and export compliance operations under limited guidance and supervision.
- Reviewing import and export documentation for international shipments to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policy requirements.
- Assisting the team with ERP Oracle / GTM implementation and system support activities as directed.
- Collecting, analyzing, and transforming trade data into meaningful metrics and KPI reports for internal tracking and leadership.
- Identifying opportunities to improve or automate existing compliance processes, including experimenting with AI-enabled tools.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 4–5 years of experience in trade compliance, international business, imports/exports, or Supply Chain Management.
- Deep expertise in US import and export compliance requirements, including the ability to perform HTS & ECCN classification and apply US export compliance concepts (e.g., EAR, OFAC, and CBP). This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively across regions and time zones.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data to develop related metrics, and technical aptitude for learning new systems (prior exposure to ERP Oracle or GTM is preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to work with internal stakeholders and respond to inquiries from freight forwarders and customs brokers.
