We are partnering with a high-growth Data-as-a-Service company to identify a Corporate Controller (Consultant) to support and enhance the company’s accounting operations during a critical phase of scale. This consultant will play a key leadership role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, and optimizing processes across the accounting function.
This is a fully remote role within the U.S., with responsibility for managing a distributed team, including one international team member based in Israel.
- Lead and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes , ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Manage and mentor a team of four direct reports , fostering accountability and professional development
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
- Review and refine internal controls, policies, and procedures to support a scalable finance organization
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Operations, and Executive Leadership to provide insights and support decision-making
- Oversee key accounting areas including revenue recognition, consolidations, and technical accounting matters
- Support audit readiness and coordination with external auditors
- Drive process improvements and automation across the accounting function
- Effectively collaborate with and manage a remote, international team member (Israel-based)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller-level leadership
- Prior experience in a high-growth, SaaS or Data-as-a-Service environment strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP , particularly revenue recognition (ASC 606)
- Proven experience managing and developing accounting teams, including remote and/or international staff
- Hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and modern finance tools is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and accountability

- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building structure where needed
