Job Title: Corporate Controller (Consultant)
Location: Remote – U.S.-based

Overview
We are partnering with a high-growth Data-as-a-Service company to identify a Corporate Controller (Consultant) to support and enhance the company’s accounting operations during a critical phase of scale. This consultant will play a key leadership role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, and optimizing processes across the accounting function.
This is a fully remote role within the U.S., with responsibility for managing a distributed team, including one international team member based in Israel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes , ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Manage and mentor a team of four direct reports , fostering accountability and professional development
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Review and refine internal controls, policies, and procedures to support a scalable finance organization
  • Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Operations, and Executive Leadership to provide insights and support decision-making
  • Oversee key accounting areas including revenue recognition, consolidations, and technical accounting matters
  • Support audit readiness and coordination with external auditors
  • Drive process improvements and automation across the accounting function
  • Effectively collaborate with and manage a remote, international team member (Israel-based)

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller-level leadership
  • Prior experience in a high-growth, SaaS or Data-as-a-Service environment strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP , particularly revenue recognition (ASC 606)
  • Proven experience managing and developing accounting teams, including remote and/or international staff
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and modern finance tools is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
