About the Opportunity:
Our client is looking for a skilled Data Analyst — Tableau / Snowflake Reporting Suite to join their team for a 3 Months engagement. This project involves designing, building, and delivering a suite of commercial reports in Tableau, sourced from their Snowflake data warehouse. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Design & Development: Designing and building a suite of polished, production-ready Tableau dashboards and reports that are intuitive, visually clear, and business-ready.
- Data Sourcing: Connecting to and querying Snowflake data sources to identify and validate the appropriate tables, views, and data sets needed for reporting.
- Data Governance: Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization within all published workbooks, and developing and maintaining calculated fields, parameters, and filters.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements across commercial functions (sales, revenue, pipeline, etc.) and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions.
- Documentation & Handoff: Documenting all reports, data sources, and refresh schedules thoroughly, and leading a structured knowledge transfer and handoff to the internal team.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years of experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role.
- Deep Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Snowflake, including writing SQL queries, understanding schemas, and working with large datasets.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience building commercial or revenue-facing reports (sales dashboards, pipeline reports, ARR/MRR tracking, etc.).
- Soft Skills: Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver within a defined timeline, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Problem Solving: Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into clear, actionable data visualizations.
- Experience with data governance and documentation best practices.
