About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Cloud Data Security, is looking for a skilled Endpoint Engineer to join their team for an ongoing engagement. This project involves the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the organization’s device ecosystem, focusing on automating the lifecycle of hardware and virtual desktops to ensure a seamless, secure, and zero-touch experience for our global workforce. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform daily upkeep, system maintenance, and regular patch management for all managed endpoints.
- Architect and maintain the Jamf Pro environment for all macOS and iOS devices.
- Lead the administration of Microsoft Intune, ensuring robust policy application, security baselines, and application delivery.
- Administer and optimize Amazon WorkSpaces, including managing directories, custom bundles, and image creation/maintenance.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated scripts in PowerShell and Bash to automate manual tasks and implement automated reporting for hardware inventory, license compliance, and security auditing.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Deep expertise in Jamf Pro for managing macOS and iOS at scale and hands-on experience with Amazon WorkSpaces administration. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Experience with managing Windows environments through Microsoft Endpoint Manager and deploying and managing a Bring Your Own Device program for personal mobile phones.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team, with the ability to write and debug Bash and PowerShell scripts from scratch.
