About the Opportunity
Join a premier leader specializing in manufacturing precision-engineered components and flexible printed circuits for the Aerospace and Defense, Medical Devices, and Electronics industries. We are looking for an ERP System Developer to be responsible for the development and customization of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, specifically Epicor. This role is crucial for ensuring the software runs smoothly and efficiently by delivering timely and cost-effective solutions. You will participate in assessing business requirements and converting them into functionality that enhances the effectiveness of the ERP system.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design, customize, and test application elements to ensure optimal utilization of the Epicor ERP system.
- Plan, track, and communicate status updates for all ERP improvement projects.
- Collaborate with end users to study business methods, realize needs, and recommend technical solutions.
- Develop and create interfaces from various applications both within and outside of the Epicor ERP system.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex software defects, and develop unit testing strategies for software, interfaces, and schemes.
- Create and maintain ERP designs and coding standards, and provide custom coding for the system.
- Enforce architectural procedures for projects, review code, and assist team members.
- Create and update architecture and technical documentation for review and approval.
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies relevant to the ERP system.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated knowledge of software development, systems analysis, and information technology principles.
- Working knowledge of .NET Framework in C# or Visual Basic.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Azure DevOps, GIT, Jira, Power BI, and Epicor.
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to quickly switch between high-focus tasks and manage a varied workload effectively.
