About the Opportunity:
Our client, a growing product service organization, is seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as they transition from a legacy platform. This project involves driving the successful delivery of the ERP program while coordinating closely with the implementation partner and internal business stakeholders. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the end-to-end ERP implementation project, replacing a legacy system with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Partnering with the external implementation team and internal business/technology stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
- Managing project scope, timeline, budget, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications.
- Overseeing implementation of Core Financials, Order Processing, and Field Service modules.
- Coordinating business process alignment, testing, training, data migration, and go-live activities.
- Driving cross-functional collaboration across operations, finance, service, and leadership teams.
- Preparing for future implementation phases, including Manufacturing modules.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience leading ERP implementation projects as a Project Manager.
- Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or earlier Microsoft ERP platforms.
- Strong understanding of ERP business processes, particularly within Finance, Order Management, and Field Service operations.
- Experience managing third-party implementation partners and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Experience within product-based or product service organizations is preferred.
- Exposure to manufacturing ERP implementations or future-state manufacturing planning is preferred.
- Experience with ERP modernization and legacy system replacement initiatives is preferred.
