About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in FinTech and financial automation, is looking for a skilled Event Coordinator to join their team for a 6-month engagement. This project involves taking ownership of assigned trade shows and managing end-to-end event logistics to cover a maternity leave. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional with an owner mentality who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Own assigned trade shows and ensure all tasks are completed by deadlines.
- Help manage end-to-end logistics, pre and post-marketing support, event set-up and teardown.
- Oversee trade show inventory and booth assets.
- Track, measure, and report standard metrics across event marketing efforts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to ensure event success.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 1-3 years of trade show or event marketing experience.
- Deep expertise in booking trade shows. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Experience using event and marketing systems like Salesforce, Marketo, and Asana.
- Exceptional attention to detail, project management, and organization skills.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to jump in and help with special projects.
