About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in the semiconductor industry, is looking for a Financial Analyst 4
. You will be a trusted advisor to the business and influence sound business decisions based on your expertise in interpreting data, performing analysis, modeling, and understanding financial outlook. You're in a high visibility role working with internal business partners at all levels and across functions, on challenging and rewarding projects that help shape financial strategies and decisions for the future.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Perform financial forecasting, consolidation, reporting, and operational metrics tracking in support of financial cycles: Quarterly Reviews, Annual Operating Planning (AOP), and Balance Sheet Review (BSR).
- Manage quarter-end close processes including variance analysis and actuals vs. forecast reporting of headcount, Opex, Capex.
- Perform financial analysis to influence decisions and support corporate initiatives.
- Prepare and publish reports creating visibility to spending trends and headcount to make spending prioritization recommendations.
- Partner with Business Operations to identify and support or drive profitability initiatives and projects.
- Identify and lead business process improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Build trusted business relationships, gain deep understanding of the business, and act as an advisor providing actionable insights from growth opportunities to cost savings.
- Support internal and external audits, as well as controls and compliance related activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or business-related field with 7+ years of experience; or Master's degree or equivalent certification (MBA, CPA, CFA, CA, CMA, or equivalent) with 3+ years' experience; or equivalent experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SAP, Workday Adaptive, dashboards, and data visualization.
- Attention to details and demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain business partner relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload; effective multi-tasking skills are vital.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.
- Must have SAP experience.
- Understanding the semiconductor industry, highly preferred if worked with Intel, Qualcomm.
