About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Technology (specifically within their Strategic Finance team), is looking for a skilled Financial Analyst III to join their team for an 8-month engagement. This project involves supporting Attrition and Migrations forecasting within the Digital Media organization. The vision of this team is to become a finance and strategy powerhouse and a go-to resource known for its financial expertise and knowledge of the tech industry to identify emerging trends, understand market forces, and evaluate potential risks and opportunities. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Attrition and Migrations forecasting within the Digital Media team.
- Driving critical strategic initiatives and supporting key financial decisions.
- Collaborating with various partners to bring a strategic lens to the quarterly and longer-term planning process.
- Providing financial expertise and knowledge to identify emerging trends, understand market forces, and evaluate potential risks and opportunities.
- Articulating key business insights and the financial implications/business impact to senior finance leaders.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 7 years of FP&A (or related) experience required.
- Deep expertise in financial fundamentals and forecasting process, with excellent analytical & technical skills (e.g., Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, and Anaplan are highly valued). This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- High attention to details with organizational skills and ability to take charge, set objectives, and drive to results.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team and outstanding social skills to collaborate across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field.
