About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in FinTech, is looking for a skilled Google Ads Associate to join their team for a 5-month engagement. This project involves managing the day-to-day execution and optimization of paid search and advertising channels, specifically Google Ads, to drive lead and pipeline generation. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Campaign Management: Manage the day-to-day of Google Ads accounts (Search, Display, Performance Max, and YouTube), optimizing campaigns for lead and pipeline generation.
- Account Execution: Spend time in accounts setting up and optimizing campaigns, ad groups, keyword lists, bidding strategies, ad copy, and conducting A/B tests.
- Performance Reporting & Analysis: Analyze reports, search term data, and performance trends using tools like platform data, Salesforce, and Tableau, and recommend necessary changes to improve performance.
- Strategy & Scaling: Support scaling initiatives and experimentation by expanding campaigns into new channels/formats.
- Oversight: Help oversee campaign budgets and performance for all paid search advertising channels.
- Industry Expertise: Stay up to date on Google Ads product releases, algorithm updates, and search marketing trends in the industry.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing Google Ads and other paid search accounts (e.g., Microsoft/Bing Ads).
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Ads, with Search campaign management being required.
- Comfortable with data analysis and performance reporting, and able to explain campaign results and business impacts.
- Practical knowledge of the Google Ads platform and Google Ads Editor, including how to set up campaigns, conduct keyword research, and strategize.
- Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and in landing page optimization, ad copy writing, and A/B testing to drive conversion improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a bias towards data-based decision making.
- Ability to multitask and balance responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience specifically in B2B marketing, ideally within the SAAS, FinTech, or financial/accounting industry.
- Experience with Enterprise reporting and BI tools, especially Tableau.
