We are currently partnering with a highly respected, family-owned company in the building materials and construction space that is experiencing exciting growth! We are looking for a hands-on Head of Accounting to take ownership of their financial operations, drive strategic planning, and lead a tight-knit team of three.

? Compensation:$130,000 - $160,000 base salary + comprehensive benefits ? Location: Mountain View, CA (Note: 100% onsite for the first 90 days, then transitions to a hybrid schedule of 3 days in-office / 2 days remote)
What You’ll Be Doing:

Owning the day-to-day accounting operations, including the general ledger, payroll, and internal controls.

Overseeing the AP/AR functions to ensure timely processing, accuracy, and strong vendor/customer relationships.

Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and leading the annual budgeting process.

Ensuring compliance with GAAP and coordinating external audits.

Managing and mentoring a small accounting team (2-3 direct reports).

Collaborating directly with the CFO and executive team to implement long-term financial strategies.
What We’re Looking For:

5–7+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.

A background in the manufacturing, construction, or building materials industries is highly preferred (specifically with inventory experience).

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA is a big plus!).

Proficiency in accounting software—experience with NetSuite is highly desired, along with systems like QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.

A natural leader who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
