About the Opportunity:
Our client is looking for a skilled HRIS Leader to join their team for a 5–6 month engagement. This project involves leading an offshore team of HRIS Analysts and overseeing the technical delivery and configuration within the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. The ideal candidate is a hands-on manager with deep functional and technical expertise in Workday, capable of guiding a team in executing small to medium enhancements while ensuring system integrity and optimal performance. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and lead an offshore team of 6 HRIS analysts (4 existing + 2 new hires) dedicated to supporting small to medium enhancements within Workday HCM.
- Serve as the final technical reviewer and auditor for complex HCM configurations, business processes, and security groups, ensuring thorough quality assurance and compliance before any staff changes are deployed in Workday releases.
- Provide advanced subject matter expertise and hands-on guidance on configuring and maintaining Workday modules, with a specific focus on Total Rewards, Benefits, Compensation (including Advanced Compensation), and Performance Management.
- Oversee the team's efforts in executing Workday-related projects and enhancements from initiation through post-implementation support, including requirements gathering, testing, and deployment.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including Director-level and above, to effectively communicate business processes, technical implications, and risks/benefits of proposed changes.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of progressive HRIS experience, including significant hands-on Workday configuration experience (either consulting or client-side).
- Proven leadership or management experience over an HRIS support or technical team, preferably an offshore team.
- In-depth functional expertise in Workday Benefits, Compensation (including Advanced Compensation), and Performance Management.
- Strong knowledge of Workday HCM modules, including Security.
- Demonstrated experience with managing the full lifecycle of Workday projects, from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
