Pay Range: $70-100/hr
Start Date: ASAP
Location: New Brunswick, NJ (Hybrid – 3 days onsite preferred)
About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Global Healthcare, is looking for a skilled Project Manager – HR IT Transformation / Enterprise Separation Program to join their team for a 15 months engagement. This project involves providing enterprise-level project oversight for a large-scale corporate separation initiative, coordinating across multiple HR technology workstreams to ensure successful planning and execution of the HR IT components of the program. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading end-to-end project management for HR IT workstreams supporting the enterprise separation initiative.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Tracking and managing program risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID logs), coordinating cross-functional dependencies with Finance, Payroll, and other enterprise technology teams.
- Managing project reporting, including executive-level status updates to leadership/PMO, ensuring alignment with program governance and reporting requirements.
- Coordinating project activities across all HR technology domains, including Workday, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, HR Data / Analytics, Benefits & Equity, and HR intranet/internal tools.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 8+ years of enterprise-level IT project management experience.
- Deep expertise managing large-scale, complex technology programs, strong risk/dependency management, and experience managing complex timelines and milestones. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, drive/influence the project, and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments with high-visibility stakeholders and coordinating multi-system, cross-functional technology initiatives. Preferred familiarity with HR technology platforms (e.g., Workday) and standard enterprise PM tooling like Microsoft Project or JIRA.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates and executive-level reporting to the project team and leadership.
