About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Cloud Data Security and IT Infrastructure, is looking for a skilled Site IT Lead to join their team for an ongoing engagement. This project involves serving as the primary IT administrator for the Austin office, maintaining both Commercial and FedRamp systems, and assisting in the implementation of new technologies to ensure system stability and performance. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Advanced Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Serve as the main point of contact and escalation point for the global Service Desk Team, providing advanced technical support to end-users for various enterprise applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Jamf, Intune, Okta, Zoom, Slack, Github).
- FedRAMP System Administration: Act as the designated administrator for the FedRAMP boundary, managing a high-trust environment, and collaborating with the Identity and Access Management team to uphold strict system compliance.
- Executive and AV Support: Provide premium and proactive technical assistance to senior leadership, executives, and their administrative staff, and serve as a primary point of contact for the executive assistant team while troubleshooting AV systems as needed.
- Asset Management and Documentation: Collaborate with the Service Desk Team to maintain an accurate inventory of all endpoints and create and publish knowledge base articles for complex or novel issues.
- Process Optimization and Security: Identify, recommend, and implement continuous process improvements to enhance support operations and coordinate with the InfoSec team to remediate security gaps and vulnerabilities.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role providing front-line IT support or systems administration work.
- Deep expertise in the Apple ecosystem of products (Macs, iPhones, and iPads) and Windows/Android environments. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Advanced proficiency with standard IT productivity tools and systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Jamf, InTune, Okta, Zoom, Slack), and strong knowledge of IT security best practices.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team and executive staff.
