Job Type: Contract
Contract Length: 12 months
Pay Range: $40/hr W2 only
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Hybrid (2x/week, Tuesday and Wednesday) in Framingham, MA
About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Global Corporate Operations, is looking for a skilled LMS Administrator to join their team for a 12-month engagement. This project involves supporting a critical, large-scale system transition by managing two learning management systems (LMS)—the existing SuccessFactors LMS and the new Workday Learning platform—through full implementation and go-live. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- System Transition Management: Support the comprehensive transition from SuccessFactors LMS to Workday Learning LMS, helping the team manage the dual systems during the cutover period (go-live scheduled for the end of August).
- Workday Learning Administration: Provide hands-on administration and configuration expertise in the Workday LMS, including creating courses and programs, managing learners, curating content, and delivering robust reports.
- Strategic Project Execution: Coordinate, prioritize, and execute learning projects from the LMS intake queue, utilizing strategic thinking to prepare for updates and manage changing project directions.
- Expert Consulting & Support: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), consulting with stakeholders before building or configuring solutions, and serving as the primary resource for researching and resolving escalated support tickets.
- Quality Assurance & Standards: Manage testing cycles for project work and new feature implementations, enforcing standards, and documenting transition learnings for peers and leadership.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in LMS management/administration in a corporate environment.
- Deep expertise in Workday Learning LMS administration and configuration. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, ramp up quickly, and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Strong understanding of the e-learning development cycle, including the role of the LMS in testing and implementation, and classroom training administration.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team and interface with regional administrators, HRIS, and IT.
