About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in robotics and hardware innovation, is looking for a skilled Mechanical Electrical Assembler to join their team for a 3+ month engagement. This project involves the assembly and buildout of next-generation robotic systems and production hardware within their lab environment. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running, take pride in precise craftsmanship, and deliver consistent, high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assembling mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical production units and subassemblies by following released drawings, work instructions, and build documentation.
- Performing repeatable production builds, including wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and electro-mechanical integrations, to defined quality standards.
- Installing and connecting compute, control, power, and sensor systems while adhering to established procedures.
- Conducting prescribed functional tests, inspections, and basic calibrations to verify build completeness and identifying build defects or out-of-spec conditions.
- Supporting factory integration, kitting, and material handling to ensure efficient production throughput and accurate inventory management.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment (e.g., aerospace, construction, automotive, or electrical service).
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency in safely using hand tools, power tools, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform physical tasks, including walking, bending, working on elevated platforms, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work onsite in a stimulating, demanding, and rapidly advancing technological environment.
