Job Title: Meeting & Event Coordinator

Overview:
Are you a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for crafting memorable events? We are seeking a dynamic Meeting & Event Coordinator to join a fast-paced environment, orchestrating internal meetings, team events, and programs that foster engagement and support company goals. This on-site role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders to deliver seamless, impactful experiences from planning through execution and follow-up. Required Skills:

  • 2–4 years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, or a related field
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience managing vendors, budgets, and multiple events simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional attention to detail, especially regarding quality, food, and aesthetics
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, on-site environment
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with event planning software or project management tools
  • Knowledge of AV setup and technical coordination
  • Creative acumen for décor, themes, and ambiance
  • Experience coordinating seasonal or large-scale corporate events

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Communications, or related field preferred
  • Relevant hands-on experience in event planning or hospitality roles

Other Requirements:

  • This is an onsite position in Durham, NC
  • Availability to begin ASAP with a 1-year duration
  • Must be comfortable on-site for setup, teardown, and event execution
  • Monitoring and managing budgets, expenses, and vendor relationships
