About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Autonomous Vehicle Technology, is looking for a skilled Model Based Systems Engineer to join their team for a 6 months engagement. This project involves bringing systems engineering focus and discipline to their mobility-as-a-service deployment and operations. You will be the technical point of contact for the mobility service digital twin and partner with systems teams across Vehicle, Autonomy, and Operations segments to deliver fully verified product capability. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintain and mature the E2E Systems Engineering MBSE framework and methodology (process, governance, and execution guidance).
- Assist IT engineering applications department with integration between Catia Magic and other software systems (PLM, Requirements Repository) by creating PRD’s and project plans.
- Provide MBSE enablement, reviews, and working sessions for user teams (Functional Safety Systems, Product Software Systems, Vehicle Systems, Advanced Hardware Systems).
- Collaborating with the project manager to meet all milestone deadlines.
- Troubleshooting and resolving bugs in a timely manner to keep the project on schedule.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of engineering experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics.
- Deep expertise in Direct Cameo/Magic/No-Magic modeling, SysML, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Digital Engineering, and System of Systems engineering. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Experience with assisting IT engineering applications department with integration between Catia Magic and other software systems.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
