Title:  Financial Systems Analyst (NetSuite Consultant)
Job Type:  Contract
Contract Length:  6 months + with possibility to convert or extend
Pay Range:  $65/hr – $75/hr
Start Date:  ASAP
Location:  Hybrid (2-3 days a week, Tue, Wed and/or Thurs) in San Francisco, CA.

About the Opportunity:

Our client, a leader in FinTech, is looking for a skilled Financial Systems Analyst (NetSuite Consultant)  to join their team for a 6 months+ engagement. This project involves providing immediate, hands-on operational support and system administration for their NetSuite financial ecosystem, helping a small team manage a critical workload. This is a highly execution-focused role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing hands-on operational support in NetSuite for sales order cancellations and corrections, subscription and billing adjustments, and revenue/accounting fixes.
  • Serving as the in-house subject matter expert on NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) to support Revenue and Accounting teams.
  • Leading large-scale data cleanup initiatives using NetSuite tools (CSV imports, saved searches, mass updates, and workflows).
  • Troubleshooting and resolving NetSuite and integrated system errors with a strong understanding of downstream accounting impacts.
  • Building and executing end-to-end testing scenarios that mirror real business use cases.
Required Skills & Experience:

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
  • 4+ years of hands-on NetSuite administration or consulting experience.
  • Deep expertise in NetSuite's Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), Light Manufacturing, and SuiteBilling modules, as well as experience with Order-to-Cash, Billing, and Subscriptions. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
  • Solid accounting foundation, including revenue recognition, journal entries, and understanding financial impacts.
  • Proven experience executing data cleanups and transactional fixes in production environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals, operating as an individual contributor with accountability.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex system behavior to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
  • NetSuite Administrator certification.
  • Experience with CSV imports, SuiteFlow, and SuiteAnalytics.
  • Exposure to SuiteScript (hands-on or partner-supported).
  • Experience supporting hardware businesses or warehouse configurations.
