About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Cloud and AI Technology, is looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join their Corporate Engineering team for a 6-month engagement. This project involves helping to grow and scale their campus Network infrastructure and zero-trust framework as the company continues its hyper-growth. You will be a key member of the Corporate Engineering team responsible for building out a scalable network while integrating automation and meeting critical security and compliance needs. This is a high-impact role and an opportunity to join a new sub-team focused on Network/Cloud infrastructure and related SRE functions, requiring a self-motivated professional who can develop solutions at scale and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Infrastructure Scaling: Helping to grow and scale the campus network infrastructure to support company hyper-growth.
- Zero-Trust Implementation: Contributing to the development and implementation of the network's zero-trust framework to enhance security and compliance.
- Automation and SRE: Building automation capabilities and contributing to related Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) functions for the network/cloud infrastructure.
- Wireless Management: Providing expert-level management and optimization of the Aruba wireless network environment.
- Security Integration: Implementing and supporting next-generation networking solutions, particularly with PaloAlto networks Prima access and SDWAN technologies.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- Deep expertise in Aruba wireless technologies, including WiFi standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), RF principles, and antenna theory. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Strong hands-on experience with PaloAlto networks Prima access and SDWAN technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and best practices for managing large-scale wireless networks.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
- Nice to Have: Familiarity with API Automation for network management.
