Job Title: Paralegal Mid-level
 2-3 Month Contract | Remote (EST/CST)

Requirements:
  • Proven ability to read and accurately interpret statutory language and complex legal documents.

  • Strong proficiency with MS Office products , specifically advanced Excel (filters, lookups, etc.), Outlook, and Teams.

  • Highly organized professional with a demonstrated eye for detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

  • Strong technical aptitude and the willingness to learn new information systems and execute related tasks independently.

  • Excellent research skills , including the ability to conduct and interpret comprehensive legal research as directed.

Preferred:
  • 2 to 5 years of paralegal experience with a history of detailed project work, or a background working within a state or federal agency.

  • Proficiency with HCM software such as Workday, Oracle, or other integrated enterprise platforms.

  • Educational background : We will consider recent Law School graduates (J.D.s) with law firm or government agency exposure.

  • Availability to work customary Eastern or Central daytime business hours.

Job Description: As a Paralegal / Legal Support Specialist, you will provide vital administrative and technical support to our legal team. This role is central to the organization and review of critical data, requiring a candidate who can pivot between high-level legal research and meticulous information management. You will utilize the company’s internal information systems and Microsoft Office suite to ensure all legal documentation and statutory interpretations are executed with precision. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who can work independently while ensuring seamless collaboration across the department.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive paralegal and administrative support , acting as a central resource for the legal and project teams.

  • Review and organize complex information using internal systems and advanced Excel functions to ensure data integrity.

  • Conduct and interpret legal research , providing actionable summaries of statutory language and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage detailed project work , ensuring all tasks are documented accurately and aligned with company procedures.

  • Execute time-sensitive tasks as directed , prioritizing high-impact assignments in a fast-paced environment.

  • Collaborate via Microsoft Teams and Outlook to maintain clear communication channels and meet department-wide deadlines.
