About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Software/SaaS Technology, is looking for a skilled Program Manager to join their team for a 7 months engagement. This project involves leading high-visibility, cross-functional programs focused on the successful delivery and release of new product offerings, driving alignment across multiple teams to meet key business objectives. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop strategic roadmaps in partnership with senior leaders, transforming them into executable plans to deliver against business objectives.
- Own end-to-end project planning, including establishing overall project plans with key milestones, and driving progress within time and budget constraints.
- Identify critical paths, manage project dependencies, and facilitate discussions between project teams, product management, and engineering to resolve misalignments across requirements, priorities, and schedules.
- Perform comprehensive risk management by identifying and analyzing risks, developing risk controls, and creating contingency plans.
- Define and refine standardized portfolio management processes, drive continuous process improvement, and lead release management activities to ensure successful deployment of product updates.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 6+ years of progressive experience in Program Management in software, SaaS, and/or related industry.
- Deep expertise in strong program and project management skills, specifically handling complex, highly cross-functional projects within a highly matrixed environment. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements, resolve misalignments, and utilize strong business acumen to understand Go-to-Market strategies.
- Experience with knowledge of the software development lifecycle (both waterfall & agile) and familiarity with tools including SharePoint, Jira, and Smartsheet.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially with executives, to communicate synthesized program information and influence stakeholders across levels and teams.
