Job Type: Contract
Contract Length: 6 months
Pay Range: $80 - $110/hr
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Fully Remote (with potential for occasional travel)
About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Technology, is looking for a skilled Workday Recruiting Implementation Project Manager to join their team for a 6 months engagement. This project involves providing critical project leadership to stabilize and drive to completion a complex, full-stack recruiting platform implementation (Workday Recruiting, Paradox, Bright Hire, and Higher Score) that is currently in the development and integration phase. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing senior project leadership to align and stabilize a complex, multi-vendor implementation involving Workday Recruiting and associated platforms (Paradox, Bright Hire, Higher Score).
- Managing internal and external implementation partner teams to rapidly drive the project through the development and integration phases.
- Effectively managing the expectations of the Talent Acquisition (TA) team and providing clear communication regarding project status, risks, and timelines.
- Communicating directly with internal engineering teams to ensure technical alignment and resolve integration challenges.
- Executing course-correction strategies to meet or redefine the critical mid-July go-live deadline for the full recruiting platform.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 8+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Deep expertise in Workday HCM, specifically managing end-to-end Workday Recruiting implementation projects. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Experience aligning complex, cross-functional projects across internal business stakeholders (TA team) and external implementation partners.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team and executive leadership.
