About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in the Data and AI industry, is looking for a skilled Real Estate Strategic Planning Lead to join their Real Estate & Workplace Services (REWS) team for a 6+ month engagement. This project involves portfolio planning, scenario planning, and portfolio optimization across the company's global real estate portfolio. This is a high-impact, visible role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running to support executive decision-making through strategic analysis and financial modeling.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with Finance and Real Estate Leadership to maintain the long-range REWS portfolio plan.
- Creating and maintaining flexible portfolio models and managing complex scenario planning initiatives.
- Developing portfolio optimization recommendations aligned with business growth, financial objectives, and employee experience.
- Conducting financial, operational, and portfolio analyses to support strategic real estate decision-making.
- Supporting the development of executive-ready business cases, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
- Developing and maintaining recurring portfolio reporting, dashboards, and key performance metrics.
- Translating complex portfolio tradeoffs into clear, data-driven insights.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 7+ years of experience in a combination of Real Estate, Finance, Strategy, Management Consulting, or related fields.
- Excellent analytical skills, including financial modeling, forecasting, portfolio analysis, and scenario planning.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to structure complex problems and develop actionable solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and presentation development.
- Ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
