Our client is hiring a Revenue Accounting Consultant to lead revenue recognition with a strong focus on hardware revenue. This individual contributor role will ensure ASC 606 / IFRS 15 compliance, support complex deal structures, and partner cross-functionally to drive accurate and scalable revenue processes. This role is a combination of technical and operational revenue process.
Key Responsibilities
- Own global revenue recognition, with deep focus on hardware and multi-element arrangements
- Interpret customer contracts and determine appropriate revenue treatment under ASC 606 / IFRS 15
- Partner with Sales, Legal, and Finance on deal structuring and revenue implications
- Ensure accurate reporting of revenue, deferred revenue, contract assets/liabilities, and AR
- Support close processes, reconciliations, and audit readiness
- Identify and implement improvements in revenue processes and controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 6–10+ years of revenue accounting experience, with strong hardware revenue exposure
- Deep expertise in ASC 606 / IFRS 15 and complex revenue scenarios
- Strong analytical skills and ability to collaborate across teams
