Job Type: Contract / Consulting
Contract Length: TBD
Pay Range: 150/hr
Start Date: ASAP
Location: TBD
About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Global Enterprise Solutions, is looking for a skilled SAP S/4HANA Project Manager / Leader to join their team for a contract engagement. This project involves leading end-to-end SAP S/4HANA project lifecycles, ensuring successful implementation, go-live, and post-go-live stability. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Project Leadership & Planning: Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA project lifecycles and ensure alignment with organizational goals, including developing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation such as plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, and manage changes in operational plans to optimize project outcomes.
- Team & Stakeholder Management: Lead, mentor, and guide cross-functional teams (developers, consultants, and vendors) while establishing strong relationships with stakeholders and managing expectations through effective communication.
- Technical Coordination: Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage complex integrations across multiple systems.
- Deployment & Support: Manage deployment-related cutover and go-live activities, including planning and scheduling, and leading the team to resolve issues during post-go-live support.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 7+ years of experience in IT Project Management, with a focus on full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations (inferred from the role scope).
- Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA project leadership and project management methodologies (PMP certification is a plus, inferred). This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Experience with managing cross-functional project teams, external vendors, and complex system integrations.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status reports to management and actively facilitate workshops and decision-making.
