About the Opportunity:

Our client, a leader in the Global Technology and Professional Services industry, is looking for a skilled  Senior Workday System Architect  to join their team for a Contract to Hire engagement. This project involves leading the design, implementation, and optimization of their enterprise-wide Workday solutions, with a focus on HR technology projects and system architecture. This is a high-impact role that requires a highly analytical, self-motivated professional who can lead innovative projects and provide expert guidance on best practices and system optimization.


Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Solution Design Leadership: Leading the design and implementation of Workday solutions to meet business needs, acting as a subject matter expert for various Workday modules.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborating with HR business teams and other Workday IT experts on system design decisions, user experience, and complex issue resolution.
  • Technical Guidance: Providing technical leadership, driving Workday process enhancements, and ensuring the architecture addresses all stakeholder concerns and enterprise-wide goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Staying up-to-date on Workday releases and trends, identifying opportunities to improve the process of delivering solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
  • Minimum 10 years of recent experience working on Workday for a global professional services environment, specifically in support of HR functions.
  • Deep expertise and in-depth knowledge of Workday modules, including Workday Payroll, Core HCM, Security, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, and Talent.
  • Strong technical proficiency to translate HR business needs into technical Workday solutions, including a strong understanding of Workday architecture, system logic, and configuration.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and functional issues.
  • Experience in project delivery framework practices, including agile, iterative, and waterfall project delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • W2 only (No C2C or 1099 contractors)
