About the Opportunity:

Our client, a leader in the healthcare technology sector, is looking for an entry-level Software Development Specialist  to join their team for a 1-year engagement. This project involves supporting a custom Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platform critical to the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-level professional to blend hands-on IT support with light software development, working in a fast-paced environment that prioritizes responsive communication, thorough troubleshooting, and consistent delivery.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Platform Support: Providing responsive support for the custom RMM platform, owning issues from the first report through to confirmed resolution.
  • Scripting & Development: Performing scripting work (e.g., PowerShell) related to software used in company products and the RMM platform.
  • Technical Documentation: Maintaining organized documentation, tickets, and tasks, ensuring work is clearly recorded for others to reproduce and build upon.
  • Process Improvement: Contributing to the improvement of software development and support procedures by analyzing data and identifying inefficiencies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicating technical information clearly and professionally to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring timely updates.
Required Skills & Experience:

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
  • Foundational IT skills, including Windows support, basic networking, and methodical, hands-on troubleshooting abilities.
  • Comfort with light scripting (e.g., PowerShell or similar) or a clear, demonstrated aptitude to learn quickly.
  • Practical familiarity with Generative AI tools to assist in drafting communications or summarizing information.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent requests, prioritize effectively based on urgency, and maintain high-quality results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first, professional attitude.
  • Strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while staying accountable to team goals.
  • W2 only (No C2C or 1099 contractors)
