About the Opportunity:
Our online community client is seeking a skilled iOS Software Engineer
to join their team. This role is ideal for a mid-level to senior iOS engineer and involves developing and maintaining applications for end-user groups and customers. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the entire software development lifecycle, from coding and testing to ongoing system monitoring and support.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining mobile applications for end-user groups and customers.
- Analyzing the performance of applications and troubleshooting problems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Actively involved in the coding, testing, and documentation of proposed software solutions.
- Responsible for the creation, modification, and comprehensive testing of code.
- Participating in the review of code from junior-level and offshore programmers, providing constructive feedback.
- Engaging in ongoing systems monitoring and providing general support for assigned applications.
- Analyzing system/software performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Responsible for analyzing and identifying system performance issues, recoding bugs, testing fixes, and implementing the identified solutions.
- Analyzing software solutions based on customer requirements and suggesting the most effective approach.
- Undertaking other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Mid-level to senior experience as an iOS Engineer.
- Demonstrated experience working with Apple AVFoundation and VideoToolbox.
- Proven ability to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot mobile iOS applications.
- Strong understanding of code creation, modification, and testing methodologies.
- Experience in code review and providing constructive feedback.
- Ability to analyze system/software performance and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
