Job Type: Contract
Contract Length: Through End of Year (EOY)
Pay Range: $40 - $60/hr
Start Date: 5/18/26
Location: 100% Remote from US
About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Industrial Services and Operational Excellence, is looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join their team for a short-term engagement through the end of the year. This project involves supporting major IT project execution, including tech migrations and platform consolidation, across their Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure environments. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with IT projects including migrations (such as MaaS360 to Intune), platform rollouts, and standardization efforts.
- Support device management across Intune and MaaS360, including enrollment, compliance policies, and application deployment.
- Execute endpoint monitoring, patching (OS and third-party for Windows), and remediation using RMM tools like NinjaOne.
- Assist with remediation of security findings, including endpoint vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and compliance gaps.
- Support basic Azure administration tasks, including user access, resource support, and troubleshooting under the direction of IT leadership.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of systems administration experience.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Entra ID) and hands-on experience with Intune and/or MaaS360. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Experience with Azure administration (basic resource management, access, troubleshooting), RMM tools (NinjaOne preferred), and supporting Windows endpoints.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
