About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Enterprise Software/SaaS, is looking for a skilled Technical Program Manager III to join their team for a 6 months engagement. This project involves owning program business and technical outcomes end-to-end as part of the central Transformation and Program Management Office. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Program Ownership: Own program business and technical outcomes end-to-end, ensuring direct, measurable business impact.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead large-scale, cross-functional teams with often competing priorities to deliver high-quality, impactful business or technical outcomes.
- Risk Mitigation: Drive complex, cross-organizational programs spanning multiple domains, including efforts that reduce material security, compliance, or operational risk.
- Technical Clarity: Enable structure and clarity in ambiguous problem spaces, driving decisions and mitigating risks even with incomplete data.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain a deep technical understanding of the solutions being built, identifying hidden technical and security risks and resolving upstream and downstream technical dependencies.
- Process Improvement: Act as a force multiplier by mentoring other TPMs, introducing scalable processes, and driving organizational efficiency at the company level.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience driving strategic technical initiatives across multiple functions and influencing VP+ stakeholders.
- Program Frameworks: Experience creating and evolving program management frameworks and practices.
- Technical Leadership: Expertise in Fit-Gap Analysis and leading design and technical trade-off discussions to closure.
- Problem Solving: Advanced ability to define and break down ambiguous and complex business problems.
- Technical Domains: Good understanding of IT Infrastructure domains, including Identity Management, Network, Cloud Environments, and general software engineering domains.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the enterprise software industry (SaaS and B2B preferred) and thrives in a rapidly scaling, dynamic startup environment.
- Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas authoritatively and influence executives and department leadership.
- Security/Risk: Experience leading cross-functional security or risk-reduction initiatives (e.g., security posture improvements, audit readiness) is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
