About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in the Autonomous Vehicle industry, is looking for a skilled Technical Program Manager to join their team for a 6-month engagement. This project involves tracking key supplier quality metrics and driving the development and continuous improvement of critical supplier quality and readiness applications (such as APQP and PPAP) across a Global Supply Chain. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Translate the top-down corporate strategy and milestones into detailed product road maps, timelines, dashboards, and deliverables.
- Drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of business applications related to Deviations, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
- Develop, track, and report on key quality metrics to identify systemic issues, measure supplier performance, and drive data-informed improvements.
- Develop project schedules, identify milestones, flag risks, and clearly communicate ongoing progress to relevant stakeholders at all levels.
- Ensure problems are transparent and risks are identified and proactively mitigated.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., Quality, Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing) to ensure project priorities are coordinated and on track.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 8-10 years of experience in program management or a similar role.
- Deep expertise in quality systems & methods, supply chain management, and manufacturing. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Proven track record in managing complex cross-functional projects.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and data analytic skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
- BS degree or higher in an Engineering or Science discipline.
- Master’s degree.
