About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in the autonomous mobility sector, is looking for a skilled Technical Program Manager to join their team for a 6-month engagement. This project involves supporting an expert Autonomy team in delivering critical improvements across Perception, Prediction & Behavioral ML, TeleGuidance, Planning & Controls, and Collision Avoidance. This is a high-impact, project-based role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running, drive execution, and help engineering teams deliver on key business objectives.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Roadmap Strategy: Partnering with engineering managers and functional leads to translate high-level project goals into actionable roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables.
- Cross-Functional Execution: Driving the execution of complex initiatives independently, specifically focused on improving autonomous driving behavior.
- KPI & Data Development: Supporting the development of metrics, measurements, and datasets to track Driving Behavior KPIs.
- Risk Management: Proactively identifying project risks and building robust mitigation plans with cross-functional teams.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Creating and delivering executive-facing updates regarding project status, risks, and key accomplishments.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 6+ years of program management experience, with a specific focus on software development.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects independently.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Gantt charts, JIRA, Smartsheet, risk matrix).
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Nice to have: Experience in AI/ML, autonomous vehicles, robotics, or aerospace, and familiarity with autonomous system KPIs.
