About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in the Technology/Software Industry, is looking for a skilled Test Engineer - RiderDash, Concierge, and CoreDash to join their team for a 6+ months engagement. This project involves focusing on manual and automation testing for mission-critical web-applications (RiderDash, Concierge, and CoreDash), including manual release validation and vehicle mission testing, while contributing to Playwright-based automated test cases. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Automation Development: Develop, maintain, and expand Playwright automation test cases to enhance regression coverage and test efficiency.
- Manual Validation: Perform manual testing for RiderDash, Concierge, and CoreDash feature releases, hotfixes, and pre-merge validations.
- Vehicle Testing: Conduct vehicle mission testing and provide detailed reporting and analysis on mission outcomes.
- Defect Management: Support triage and assist in identifying, reproducing, and verifying defects across environments (Dev, Staging, and Production).
- Quality Assurance: Provide QA sign-off for release readiness and ensure all validation activities meet defined quality standards.
- Documentation: Document test results, maintain traceability to requirements, and track issues to closure.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 1-3 years of experience as a QA Engineer with proven skills in testing large-scale complex applications.
- Deep expertise in testing tools like JIRA and TestRail. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Experience with manual release validation and defect verification across multiple environments (Dev, Staging, Production).
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team and collaborate with developers, QA leads, and product managers.
- Bonus: Experience with Playwright automation, and/or TypeScript or JavaScript.
