About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in FinTech, is looking for a motivated Workplace Coordinator to join their team for a 6-month engagement (with the possibility of extension). This project involves crafting and maintaining a welcoming, employee-centric environment and ensuring the smooth, daily operation of the physical workspace. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a high-quality employee and guest experience while maintaining excellent daily communication with all stakeholders.
- Owning and managing catering and various vendors, ensuring storage etiquette is maintained throughout the building.
- Managing the Google Calendar and event bookings for large event spaces and owning the setup and breakdown for all on-site events (company meetings, onsites, etc.).
- Operating the Workplace Jira ticketing portal and escalating any facilities issues in a timely manner.
- Inventorying, ordering, organizing, and managing office supply stock, as well as receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming mail and package deliveries.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 1-3 years of Workplace/Hospitality experience, including front desk experience.
- Deep expertise in providing customer-first service, comfortable interacting with onsite vendors, employees, and guests.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple requests, and solve problems quickly with an ownership mindset.
- Experience with vendor management and familiarity with tools like Slack, Jira, and Envoy is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with consistent onsite availability during business hours (including some evenings/weekends as needed) and the ability to assist during facility emergency incidents.
